Everyone knows that men like their gadgets, but when it comes to attitudes towards technology and its offspring, gender can make all the difference. According to DDB Worldwide Communications Group's Life Style Study, 27 percent of men are a different person when they're online, versus 18 percent of women. Guys are also more likely than women to have online friendships with people they've never met and to prefer anonymity online. If it were up to 35 percent of male shoppers, they'd never set foot in a store (compared with 28 percent of women).
